Hello Andy,

I am trying to stay with newest versions as long as it does not jeopardize stability.

I am using Mint LMDE2 with debian backports. So I do have kernel 4.4+71~bpo8+1 running.
btrfs tools are from debian stable, which has version 3.17. I am wondering if it would make sense to also get the tools from the backports repo which has version 4.4-1~bpo8+1.

I understand from your message that I should do that. Right?

Matthias
