Maybe Google Fit talks with Fitbit app. I had that app installed from before, then one day I noticed that it had data that seemed to come from the watch. Yes, looking there is displays my siesta data as coming from Fitbit. It also shows the map of my walk this afternoon, with a label that says "Fitbit". In the details, it shows the elevation graph of the walk, something that is missing in the Fitbit app. I remember vaguely saying yes to share data, but I don't remember which of the two apps.
