A rpi-B (not b+), with 88 kernel threads (the [] ones in top). plus 14 system and 8 of mine. systemd-udevd, acpid, systemd, systemd-journald, xinetd, syslogd, klogd, init, haveged, systemd-logind, wpa-supplicant, dhcpcd, sshd and udevd, plus 2x sshd+bash and 4 daemons for my apps. systemd brings up 4, the wifi/net 3, general devices 3. All of these are have very clear reasons for their usage. -- mrr
