Would it also traverse more then 2 levels?
When traversing the descendants, would it also traverse pointers to members
in pointers to members, etc.? With other words, would it also work with
struct SChild
{
SGrandChild * gc;
};
This operator may save a few keystrokes, but it makes reading the code
more difficult.
I am afraid that it will make debugging of code more difficult, in
particular if there is not such a trivial nesting of simple classes, but a
hierarchy of deeply nested complex classes. If there is a problem with the
member, it might not be easy to find its declaration, as it can be in one of
many class definitions, declared in many different files.
