There, that makes more sense. And I agree with you 100%. When you are making a language translator to C, you have to do some work. When you are translating from your source languages types to types in C which do not match the same sizes or semantics, you have to do some work. When you want to write wrappers to call external C functions from your own language, you have to do some work. When you want to translate between your source language types and the types of a different language, you have to do some work. When you want to understand the functions you are calling, or the types used, you have to do some work. There is no /problem/ - certainly not with C or Linux. There is merely work that /you/ have to do if you want to use C as the output of your language translator or to interact with functions specified in C.
