Actually that was the middle thing "setting the ringtone".
It had to be one of the three! :)

Thanks for explaining the issue as that is the one issue I didn't delve
into much, other than to note that there is reputedly an app that "sets"
the ringtone for each app for you (but I haven't tested it).

The Zedge app is _supposed_ to help you _find_ and _set_ the ringtone for
any given app. Does it do that? I don't know. But that's my understanding.

Again, I do not know if it actually works, but it is "supposed" to:
o Find all your ringtones, and, 
o Set any given app to use those ringtones

I've seen that before, where a file I _know_ is there, I can't see!
It's frustrating.

All that matters, in the end, are two things:
o That we get things to work, or, 
o That we at least understand why they don't work!
