You guys just need to believe science. Hey, I've got these two 
oscilloscopes at different ends of my lab. I turned up the gain on both 
of them and and got some displays. After much digital processing I found 
two pulses in coincidence!  I'm sure this is proof positive of signals 
from a collision of neutron stars somewhere in the galaxy! There is no 
doubt.
