And why’d you use the time of 250 million years, which is the time that it takes the earth to go around, as opposed to the time it takes for the rim of the galaxy to complete an orbit (which is quite a bit more)? And just so you know, there are about 8*10^15 seconds in 250My. Or put a different way, about 30*10^15 seconds in the galactic period of the Milky Way.
