How do you copy photos over USB from Android to Windows?
(If you don't use USB, then an answer doesn't apply.)

Me?
1. I simply connect the phone via USB to the monitor USB hub
2. That mounts the phone where I copy "Camera" in full
3. I paste to my local "Phone" directory hitting "Skip" when asked

PRO:
Dead simple & reliable (just plug in, copy, & paste)

CON:
The skip-duplicate calculation takes longer the more old photos there are

My system works fine, as it's efficient but I wonder if you use a better
(faster, safer, or more efficient) method to copy photos en masse from
Android over to USB on Windows.

HINT: I have other methods, such as FTP servers, but they don't apply to
this question since this question is _only_ about USB file transfer.
