Pardonemoise, but the time τ, or the space q, span is essential. Plus 
those sets of data has to relates somehow, directly or indirectly. Or else 
everything correlates with everything else, and itself. However, auto-
correlation reveals a lot of other interesting things, I'm not going into 
details.
