Physics Question;

so, at 20,000 mph, and 20 years away, how large is the asteroid to be
detectable by radar at that distance ?  OR how about by reflected light
? (assume rock is coming straight towards earth)

part 2.   How much mass to we need to put up there to effect the path of
the rock ?  (assume by gravity, by explosion, or by hitting it like a q
ball)

part 3. how much time and energy does it take to put the mass up there
to the asteroid from Earth to affect something ?

(math is not hard, but I think you will see how the Earth is in very
deep yogurt when it comes to asteroids, of most any size, (Bruce Willis
cannot save the planet))
