How have you found the impact of AI ?

Mate of mine who works as a teacher of unemployable adults
with a stupid system of physical booklets that the students
fill out and the staff mark, with him having no programming
experience at all, managed to achieve a lot getting rid of the
booklets but his employer has chosen to stick with the old
manual system, basically so staff doesn't lose their jobs
