No subscription. And this is if it ever makes it to that level. Right now in its current state it works fine for my purposes but is not something I would sell. I am a self-described "shitty scripter". There is no way I could do all the SQL work and more, and even if I could, I could not move 1/10th the speed I am moving now. Development started less than 3 weeks ago still... and already it is FOR ME better than Usenapp, which is likely the current best for macOS. It is faster, has a better search (for local posts, anyway), has better tagging and more. Not that I have anything against Usenapp or its developer -- I purchased his product happily and he fixed some bugs I reported. I have used AI to also make some macOS and iOS shortcuts which I could have done on my own but likely would not have. With Usenet, I have updated my scripts where I can download by MID more easily -- again, work I likely would never have done without AI. It was a silly bot that would "act human" -- good enough in a busy chat room where it would sometimes not be called out for an hour or two.
