I think > i'll skip the rest till you make sure you understand the procedure > correctly. > yep, she left out coorolation, spread spectrum, and code chip length. much more complicated that what she stated. the speed of light is one thing, and the speed of signal travel is another, as going through the ionosphre causes delay, and atmosphere and bending. read up on an error analysis for GPS signal prosscing, very difficult and complex. a real wonder now, as it is decoded by 0.1 cubic inch electronics, and they can stick it in all cellphones, etc.
