I set up a Stunnel when we got kicked out of Demon, and I chose Plusnet
as the new provider.

After some time I came aware that Plusnet probably didn't need Stunnel,
but I've never bothered to delete it on this PC. As I only
half-understand Stunnel, it could be that it was never actually
configured correctly, and if so, it didn't actually matter if Plusnet
wasn't using it (ie if it wasn't broke, why fix it?).

Anyway, I realise that I've also had TP running on a couple of laptops,
using XP to W10 - and I don't recall ever installing Stunnel on THEM -
so I guess that Plusnet definitely didn't need it. The obvious thing to
do is to fire them up, and they still have TP on them, see if it works.

By the way - News still works OK. Does this indicate that Stunnel is not
the problem?
