I can agree on that. It is hard for completely new OS's to gain traction in the marketplace, at least in the PC world (the embedded world has vary more varied needs, and far more varied OS's). Sorry - I use Gnome2, Mate or Cinnamon for most purposes, which make it fairly easy to change languages or keymaps. (I use the command line heavily within these - but I don't use plain terminals much except for serious recovery work, or setting up systems that are normally headless.)
