Ah yes, ARM, who seem to have moved the complexity of the instruction set into the version numbering schemes instead. Apparently ARMV6 architecture is based on the ARM11 processor core. While there has been an ARM8 core, and there is now an ARMV8 architecture. Of course there is no possibility of confusion! -- bartc
