Pentcho, the motion of an observer does obviously change the momentum of 
an object. The motion of an observer does obviously change the kinetic 
energy of an object. The motion of the observer does obviously change 
the magnetic field of a charged object.

These are all examples of extrinsic properties, well known in physics 
for quite a long time -- well before you were born or educated.

So when you say that the wavelength -- another extrinsic property -- 
cannot possibly be changed by the motion of the observer, on what basis 
do you declare this absurd when the other properties changing is not so 
absurd?
