With plenty of justification when it comes to C.

I was only an amateur language designer in the 80s, yet my languages had 
hardly any of the issues that seem to plague C (but which everyone still 
defends).

If I can do it, then so could anyone, you would think.

At the minute C is just about a half-reasonable intermediate language 
for a translator back-end (once you've done battle with the type syntax 
and type system, and dropped half-a-dozen features that can't be 
expressed). But I genuinely feel sorry for those who have to use it 
hands-on, especially beginners.


(BTW you've done your own share of being a complaining ******** when it 
comes to stuff such as binary literals and numeric separators...)
