You have a great point in that, in order to communicate effectively on Usenet, we need to understand the words used. Without looking them up, to me, a *launcher* is something like "TouchWiz" (which came with my S3) or "Google Now" which came with my MotoG, or "Nova Free" which I put on my S3, etc. Each launcher changes a *tremendous* amount of "things" in the desktop GUI, from how you delete icons from the desktop to what shape those icons are, and whether or not you can create empty folders, and what the grid looks like and what the tab style is and the scroll effect and the menu action items, and the default app grid and the dock capabilities, and the ok-google search position, and the backup and import features and the default home and the gestures and buttons and the unread count pins and the desktop shape and look and feel, and, oh, yes, and what the default App Drawer look and feel will be. Point is, the launcher is a *lot* of things, only one of which might be the look and feel of the *default* app drawer app. In addition to the launcher, as you can see in my original screenshots, you can add any app drawer app you want, which gives you *further* options in the look and feel of the app drawer app. Now, nospam will say there is only *one* app drawer, and that is the *default* app drawer, but that will be confusing to most intelligent people because each launcher comes with a different app drawer app (e.g., the default app drawer in TouchWiz has a totally different look and feel to the default app drawer in Nova). Plus, as you can see from my screenshots, I have more than half a dozen app drawer apps on my S3. In summary, nobody would mistake a launcher for an app drawer, so we can lay that one to rest. And, it may be semantics to claim that there is only one app drawer. If there is, then that changes nothing since the rest of the "whatever you call them" app drawers do the same thing. So, whether or not there is one and only one "app drawer" is only something the Apple people will argue about (because they don't have or understand the concept of an App Drawer). All I'm asking here is what App Drawer app do you use most and why?
