not so,
you still have to see calcium build up (a by product of the cells) on 
xray, to ID and locate it.

it can happen in 12 months, go from none, to haveing a lot of cancer.

there are several fast cancers, one is via lympth nodes, takes just a 
few weeks or so.

I think we are bouncing around with generalizations on many different 
types of cancers, so ....
