Inzwischen laeuft es ja auch auf bei ihm auf dem Pi 3.

Grundsaetzlich laeuft Software fuer den Pi1 auch auf dem Pi3.

Im Detail lag es hier wohl an einer Lizenzabfrage. 

Wenn bei Kodi z.B. ein Problem auftreten sollte.
Wer einen aelteren Pi hat, dort die Installation vornehmen lassen und
dann in den Pi3 stecken oder ein "sudo touch /walkthrough_completed"
gefolgt von einem reboot.
