For my wifes sake, not mine, I had to buy their 3 year maintenance
contract. If it breaks you usually get a new iMac out of the deal.

I saw the youtube video of taking apart the new iMac and you have to buy
a kit to do so. A rather touch and go sort of thing I don't want to go
thru.

The real pisser is the email app. If one uses the classic mode, and
then move the separator bar between received emails and the email
message down to the very bottom... well, most people will see this small
dot on the bar at the bottom and try to click on it, or move the mouse
up and down a bit to get the up-arrow-bar and try to move the separator
bar and nothing happens. What I discovered is that you have to continue
moving that up-arrow-bar just about to the top of the window before the
bar all of a sudden snaps up. A pretty lame mechanism that is pretty
bad by design.
The other bug in their email app, is if you receive a photo by email and
then try to print it out. Most of the times it only prints a portion of
the photo and thats all you get.

The only good app they have is photos for the average user.
The rest of the os isn't as well documented as I'd like it to be.
For me it isn't my choice.
