Ralph, do you think this babble can change the fact that the second
postulate of SR is that the speed of light in vacuum is invariant?
And do you think that this babble can change the fact that
invariant speed of light is incompatible with a 'unifying medium'?
And do you think that this babble can change the fact that your

I have seen this down under upside down logic before:

Ralph: My faith is that simultaneity is absolute,
so relativity of simultaneity cannot be a logical
consequence of the postulates of SR.

Your opinion of the second postulate is utterly irrelevant
to what the logical consequences of the second postulate are.
Your claim that the second postulate implies a 'unifying medium'
is a ridiculous claim, because the consequences of the second
postulate is the exact opposite.
In the real word, the invariance of the speed of light
is very well confirmed by a lot of experiments.
