No menus, no nothing (although you might have the fvwm2 default built in menus, unless they only appear when there's no .fvwm2rc file found at all. Your Slackware 14.1 system should have these two: /etc/system.fvwm2rc /usr/share/fvwm/system.fvwm2rc-sample-95 The /etc file is a reasonable default file, you can copy it to ~/.fvwm/.fvwm2rc for local changes. The one in /usr/share/fvwm/ purports to provide a very windows-95 look and feel, and the top of the file is a large comment describing how to make use of it. You might try giving it a try, it might just give you the 'look' you want, then you can edit in your "Exec" lines in the AddToFunc InitFunction section to have them executed at startup time. > Further discussion with Nvidia more surely confirms the problem > I am having is caused by the driver.
