It's kind of a big deal. They're the only place to aggregate virtually
all distros in existence. And their rankings (hits on their webpages)
correlate well with the most popular distros in use, as reported in user
surveys.

Nearly 90% of Linux users choose 1 of 6 distros: Ubuntu, Arch, Mint,
Debian, Fedora, and openSUSE.

* 5 of the 6 are the Top 5 at distrowatch

* all but Arch are point-click-drool to install, and they boot to a GUI

So yeah, "GNU/Linux caters to the professional elite basement-dweller"

They all dream of being the new 'It Girl'.

Did you know the Gentoo founder took a job with Microsoft because the
Linux "community" is full of freeloading cheapskates?

Every bit of that 'noticeably faster' is wiped out the first time you
waste 15-30 minutes downloading and configuring and compiling a new kernel.

Whiny "advocate" sellout hypocrites and liars like yourself, who
contradict themselves multiple times every day, should have a cattle
bolt shot 8x into their shrieking brains.
