Mein iMac hat auch noch den Ivy-Bridge i7 4790 4,0/4,4 GHz, da ist
nichts um zum 44,0/4,2 GHz Skylake. Nur im Windows-Tower werkelt noch
der Sandy-Bridge i7 2600k overclocked von 3,4 auf 4,3 GHz. Durch das
overclocking ist aber auch der kaum schlechter...


Aber wenn ich neue Rechner kaufe wie eben für die Praxis, nehme ich
natürlich auch einfach den schnellsten aktuellen Quadcore den es gibt.
Mehrals 4 Kerne sind bei Single-Task Aufgaben allerdings unökonomisch,
in Games gewinnen regelmäßig die höher getakteten Quadcores gegen die
Oktacores.

Aber das wißt ihr alle selbst. Faustregel: je mehr einer berufsmäßig mit
