My wife's Lenovo laptop (purchased because she had a fondness for her
old IBM Thinkpad), had a HD that died and hinges that basically left
the panel hanging from the rest of the device. To say the least, it
was pathetic.

We bought her another Lenovo, but at least we were careful to get one
with an SSD and very strong hinges.
