IMVHO alcuni punti fissi andrebbero stabiliti.

Partendo dall'ipotesi che NON sappiamo se il 34 funziona...
che possiamo dire invece dei due terminali?

Il 3477 che tu sappia e' funzionante?
ed il 5251?

Sul 5251 hai impostato gli switch sul retro?
Sul 3477 hai configurato una sessione video  ad indirizzo 0 ?

Ed ancora ... che cavo twinax  hai usato?
i connettori sono in buone condizioni
oppure no?
 Esempio di cavo sospetto:
 i connettori "girano" attorno al loro asse
oppure i due spinotti all'interno del connettore
si muovono su e giu'...etc etc...

Comunque,  il cavo twinax e' facile da controllare,
basta un comune tester...
