Ich hatte dich wirklich so verstanden, dass ich in der Beschreibung hier 
in der NG "unnötiges Zeugs" weglassen soll. Ich dachte, du meintest, ich

Der Tipp, VirtualBox einfach wegzulassen, ist nicht gerade zielführend.

kein Windowsproblem mehr auf diesem Rechner. Aber andere Optionen kommen 
nicht infrage, sprich: DualBoot oder ein reines Windows.

So, VirtualBox ist also gesetzt.

Das Update mag nicht klappen, weder über die gwx.exe noch die direkte 
Installation über die iso und Ausführen der setup.exe unter dem alten 
Windows.

Ich habe darum, wie hier beschrieben, die Aktivierung 
(GenuineTicket.xml) gesichert.

Eine komplette Neuinstallation direkt von der iso als Bootmedium auf der 
alten virtuellen Maschine versagt ebenso.

Deshalb habe ich jetzt eine neue virtuelle Maschine erzeugt und dort 
versucht Win10 zu installieren. Das hat geklappt! Allerdings kann ich 
das nicht mit der GenuineTicket.xml aktivieren. Es ist ja eine neue 
Maschine, wer weiß, woran das Windows das erkennt. Die MAC-Adresse habe 
ich von der alten übernommen. Allerdings habe ich jetzt ein 
64bit-Windows installiert, das alte Win7 war 32bit. Angeblich passt die 
Aktivierung aber trotzdem, wie ich las.

Kann man durch weitere Einstellungen der virtuellen Maschine erreichen, 
dass das Windows denkt, auf der alten installiert zu sein? Ich will das 
alte Win7 dann ja entsorgen und nicht weiter nutzen, vermutlich ginge 
das auch gar nicht, weil die Lizenz dann nur noch für das Win10 gelten 
würde.
