Also nochmal:
ACK zu Deinen Ausführungen.

Ich wollte nur dem allgemein verbreiteten Mythos entgegenwirken, die RS232 
würde irgendwie die Art der Signalübertraung, mit Ausnahme der Pegel, 
definieren.
RS232 kann und wurde sowohl für synchron als auch für asynchrone Übertragung 
genutzt. Dass Wiki als Beispiel hat das heute häufigere asynchrone Format 
darstellt, widerspricht dem nicht, scheint aber bei manchen Leuten zu 
Missverständnissen zu führen.
