Bei der Vereinheitlichung solltest Du bedenken, dass der reine 3.3V Adapter 
an einem eventuellen 5V Gerät dessen keine 5V Pegel nicht mag.

Ich habe hier so was im Einsatz:

Das kann beides und funktioniert ohne Problem und dafür kann man es nicht 
selbst bauen.
