Hm ... was bieten denn die gängigen Virtualisierer, egal ob HyperV, ESX, 
Xen oder qemu/kvm, so als Bootumgebung für ihre Gastsysteme an? Soweit 
ich bisher gesehen habe, simulieren die kein UEFI, sondern ein 
klassisches BIOS. Jedenfalls hat mein wirrtuelles Windows keine EFI-
Partition auf seiner wirrtuellen Platte.
