Here is a complete description of the problem:

1. I bring up my Gmail message with the attached document embedded in it:
   http://i60.tinypic.com/5k4sd0.png
2. I long press on the document, but nothing says to open in Word/Pages:
   http://i59.tinypic.com/14nhj15.png
3. I can easily "view" the document, but it's in some funky viewer:
   http://i60.tinypic.com/x2nltg.png
4. The button that looks like a share, isn't a share button at all:
   http://i61.tinypic.com/2v0z5mr.png
5. Pressing the Google Triangle "saves" the document somewhere magical:
   http://i58.tinypic.com/szhesw.png
6. But, where is that document saved on the iPad such that it can be opened
in either Word or Pages to see if the embedded comments show up?

It really shouldn't be this impossible to get the iPad to do something
as trivially simple a task as opening a document in the desired program
(e.g., opening a Word document in Word).
