Perhaps it does.  Panopticlick lists mine (Central US) as being 1.78 bits,
but I could easily see people being more identifiable if they lived in a
less populated zone like Hawaii or Alaska.

Of course, none of this has anything to do with the Mac, or the other
newsgroups it’s been crossposted to.  My Mac is uniquely identifiable, and
I’m not going to bother trying to fix it.  Simply running a stock Debian
install (well, I did have to disable JavaScript with Iceweasel because it
breaks the Panopticlick web site) in a virtual machine drops it to 1 in
262K, and I’d be far better served tweaking that to be more common.
