Let's say a board is 50"x100" and an ordered part is 49"x99" i want to display a square representing the part in a subform that is in design mode. The reason for design mode is so the op can move the board into position, maybe resize the part representation. Is it possible to present the main form in data entry mode and the subform in design mode? If so, how? If I enter code like

Hi Patrik,

i don't think that this is possible. A workaround may be to embed i.e.
word or better visio as an ole object and automate this from access.
Another idea is netview from http://accessnetview.codeplex.com. To get
an impression just download it and start the playground mdb.
