I'm not sure what you mean by launching a terminal and running my 
program inside it.  Please remember I am not conversant with Linux.  The 
Forth I use under Windows has a command line interface which I use as 
the user console.  So I don't want to display the message traffic there 
as well.  I believe that is what you are suggesting, no?  Or would 
gforth provide its own window for interaction with the user and the 
"terminal" window would be separate?  If so, how do I display data in it?
