I would like to know whether SD! is part of the problem. I suppose I could downgrade to the previous version which was running under 10.8, which didn't have this problem. > If the problem persists, look around for a SuperDuper log > (maybe in /Library/Logs) and also take a look at the Apple > System Logs (in var/log, labeled asl) with the appropriate > timestamp. I find sorting through these logs very difficult, but I'll try to persevere. > If posted here, please don't let the lines wrap. The user sent me the log section in a TextEdit doc with softwrap. When I paste it into Thunderbird to post here, TB insists on 80 character hardwrap. I can't find any pref to change that. Enlightenment welcomed. > I'm also curious about the drive make, model, and enclosure, > but I doubt this problem is related to any of that. Wiebetech ToughTech 2TB with USB@, Firewire, and eSATA. Both the user and I have several of these drives and none has ever caused a problem. So far.
