You should know Baïkal http://baikal-server.com/ can sync your stuff
locally, and privately. See https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-6311
for more info. It's a free, open source CalDAV and CardDAV server done
in PHP that installs into the Apache server supplied with Mavericks.
Or, you can buy the "Server" tools for US$20 from the App Store, which
includes CalDAV and CardDAV servers.
