Did you find out whether Bluetooth is the root of your problem?  If so, 
and if you need Bluetooth, you could try to write a script that would 
turn bluetooth off on wakeup and turn it back on when the wifi link has 
been re-established.  In my few experiments I discovered that turning 
Bluetooth back on after the wifi had reconnected didn't interfere with 
wifi too much (although I believe it did some.)  It may also depend on 
what mode of wifi you are using -- wifi n seems to periodically 
renegotiate the wifi parameters and if bluetooth is on I think it may 
sometimes end up in a poor state.
