Have you guys seen what they're doing over at altslash? They don't even 
have slashcode up and running yet and they're already deviating farther 
from slashdot than the beta does! 

Seriously, check out 
"http://www.altslashdot.org/wiki/index.php?title=FeatureList" and see 
what they want to do to the modding system. Don't forget to read the 
talk page.

I think at this point we should just resign ourselves to the fact that 
slashdot will be no more if dice goes through with the beta.
