I had the job of removing iTunes from one of my Granddaughter's
computers a few years ago. It was like a octopus -- stuff everywhere --
which was not removed by the uninstaller so I had to manually remove
the leftovers and generally cleanup. I decided then that Itunes was off
my install list.

Apart from the uninstaller problem, I found that it invaded the computer
and reorganized a perfectly good filing system and wanted to take you to
the apple store every time it was opened to encourage you to buy something.

How the current version of iTunes functions I do not know but I will be
looking for an alternative.
