I am using this pattern for checking if e-mail address is valid:
/\b\w+([\-._]\w+)*@[a-zA-Z_]\w+(\.[a-zA-Z_]\w+)*\.[a-zA-Z]{2,6}/gi
Probably could be improved in a many ways.
