It's not my field of expertise, so I can't give you specific examples, but other people have brought them up on previous occasions when this question was raised. There have been people posting to this news group who expressed the belief that all modern C programming is for embedded systems; I remember having a very hard time convincing one of them that he was wrong. -- James Kuyper
