I grew up and live in a major metropolitan area of the US and I simply don't 
worry about being mugged. Yet you and your "oh so civilized country" are so 
overwhelmed by the significant risk of being mugged that it becomes a factor 
in your purchasing decisions. Evidently even *you* feel that your country is 
rampant with crime.
