Sadly my experience too in this group, is that some of the people who are 
great experts in C, nevertheless are not open to any suggestions for 
improvement. They will always respond negatively to any proposed 
enhancement of C. Often they use scorn and ridicule. Mr Thomson and Dr 
Sosman are the main two I have found like this. It is sad because truly 
they have great C expertise, but no interest in developing the language 
for the future!
