Yes. Note that if I click on "Learn more," it says "Note: You can only 
set up forwarding on your computer, and not on the Gmail app."

I've looked for it in Thunderbird, but couldn't find it there.

It's not there.

It makes no sense to me either, but it says both: POP is disabled and 
IMAP is disabled.
