That's correct. You don't need any add-Ons in Firefox or Thunderbird. You also don't need Firefox or Thunderbird. Nor do you need a computer. There are very few things in life that are needed. But what you *need* is irrelevant. What you should have is what you *want*--what you like, what makes things easier for you, etc. I have several add-ons in FireFox, and they are all useful; even though I don't *need* them, I like them very much. -- Ken
