Well... your "Subject" mentions "Gmail calendar", and that is the Google
calendar. It is simply the easiest one. Use Google Calendar on the
phone, and it syncs instantly with any other tablet or computer you
have, in all directions. It can share appointments with other people, or
send them via gmail.

For example, Thunderbird has a calendar addon that interfaces to google
calendar, and works on both Windows and Linux (plus the google site on a
web browser). And someone mentioned another native W10 tool that does it.

If you do not want to use Google, then you need a service on Internet
that does the syncing, and corresponding apps. There are enterprise
solutions that are private, internal to the enterprise network, should
be safe. But I'm not familiar with them.

I would repeat your post asking in the tittle for a non google
calendaring solution, hopefully cloud based.

Then there are non-cloud solutions. Maybe using your own server for
sharing, or transferring a file on the appropriate direction, manually,
each time.

Surely Microsoft-Windows has its own calendaring service, hopefully with
a calendar app for phones. But then you have to trust Microsoft more
than you do Google :-p
