Before considering other suggestions(like installing additional email software to connect to a calendar.....) How about providing more info. Since your are using Edge, you are also using Windows 10. Does reading email in Edge indicate 'reading mail in the Google Mail web interface' or 'reading email in the Outlook.com web interface' or 'reading mail in another mail provider web interface e.g. your isp'? Is your email account setup on your Android phone?
